Mark Deyab, LICSW

Hello my name is Mark Deyab, Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW), psychotherapist for individuals/families/couples and life coach. Welcome to my website. I have been a behavioral health provider for over 25 years, who has served in additional capacities as psychiatric emergency service/crisis clinician in hospital emergency rooms, counselor in an inpatient psychiatric hospital and group counselor. I also have over a decade of business experience serving as a marketing and advertising consultant. As a part of this role, I developed new business and communication strategies and tactics for profit and non-profit organizations.  By marrying these two careers, I am able to provide a unique, creative, practical and bold approach to solving personal, career, business and academic problems.

Along with my passion for empowering people via psychological, social work, business and life coaching theories and principles, I incorporate my Christian beliefs when invited. Additionally, I am a husband, father, proponent of learning for life, avid reader of both fictional and non-fictional works (feel free to ask for any suggestions or view a list of Recommended Books via the Resource tab), habitual exerciser, and athlete (or former athlete might be more apt!).

My educational background includes a Master's in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Boston College, a BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and a High School Post Graduate degree from Phillips Exeter Academy. You will not see any of these diplomas in my office because in the final analysis what I believe really matters is not a static degree but the bond/chemistry between therapist and client as well as the therapist’s trustworthiness, relevant experience, wisdom, judgement, personality, ability to creatively solve emotional and practical problems and ability to inject hope and security into the process.
